AMDClock Software

Release Notes For
Interim Version 2.0.0

Monday, August 1st, 2005

---General Description---

This is release V2.0.0 of the AMDClock software. This is an interim release of the software not intended for pre-installation on machines or distribution on recovery CD's.

This version supports all systems running Windows 98 and higher.

AMDClock displays a realtime measurement of the speed of the processor in Mhz. If there is more than one processor present and the OS supports multiple processors, then they will be displayed accordingly in the user interface. If a processor has multiple cores, they will appear in a stacked manner with top-most core representing Core 0.

Clicking on the program window brings up the options dialog that can set the sampling time for measuring processor speed and the ability to specify the FSB of the system. If an AMD Athlon™ 64 or AMD Opteron™ is used, there will not be an option to specify a FSB speed.
